Brian Christopher, Nikolai Volkoff, and Brickhouse Brown pass away

WWE Hall of Famer Nikolai Volkoff passed away just days after being released from a hospital in Maryland after he had been treated for dehydration. The 70-year-old had a long successful career while performing in the WWE where he had several runs with the WWF Tag Team Titles.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion and son of WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, Brian Christopher has passed away after being hospitalized. Christopher was arrested this past week in Memphis and charged with DUI and attempting to evade police. Brian later attempted suicide while jailed (Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department in Bolivar, TN). Brian Christopher was 46 years old and remains best known as “Grandmaster Sexay” or “Too Sexay” from the tag-team “Too Cool” with Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi during the Attitude Era.

Brickhouse Brown passed away at the age of 57. During his time in the business in the 80’s and 90’s, Brown worked as a top heel in southern promotions like the USWA and WCCW. He’s a former WCWA Texas Heavyweight champion, USWA Television champion, and a three-time USWA tag team champion with three different partners. He also briefly worked in the WWF (WWE) as an enhancement talent in 1995. On July 20th it was reported he’d passed from prostrate cancer, but it turned out to be false as he woke up in the night and told his mother (who assumed he’d passed and was waiting on the coroner). He died nine days later, after losing his fight with cancer. He was honored earlier this year by the Cauliflower Alley Club with the Courage award.
